Do Alabama drivers pay enough attention to traffic signs?

One thing that drivers encounter pretty much any time they take to the roads are road signs, like stop signs. There are a variety of different types of roads signs and these signs give very important instructions to drivers. It is very important for drivers to not let how common traffic signs are lead them to not making sure to pay close attention to such signs and take great care to obey them.

Failure to obey a traffic sign can sometimes have disastrous results.

Fatalities sometimes come as a result of such a driving mistake.

A recent report indicates that fatal auto accidents involving failure to obey a traffic sign may be particularly prevalent here in Alabama. The report, done by the Auto Insurance Center, used federal fatal crash data to determine which states lead the nation when it comes to fatal crashes per capita for different types of dangerous driving behavior.

One of the dangerous behaviors looked at in the report was failure to obey a traffic sign. According to the report, Alabama cracks the top five when it comes to states that have the most fatal accidents involving failure to obey a sign per capita. In fact, Alabama was found to have the No. 2 rank, with the only state ranked higher being Montana.
